Web design simply means the creation of websites that are displayed on the internet which are mostly for different purposes, depending on the or mode and type of operation. Web design used to be strictly for desktop computer browsers, however, since modernity and civilization haven’t stopped growing and developing for a moment, mobile phones, personal computers(laptops), and advanced mobiles(tablets) are also used now because web design is an important part of our way of life, which brings about the essence of knowledge about professional web design.

Web design is also known or can be referred to as web development.

Creation or development of websites a term called markup language is also known or called HTML.These HTML tags are used to define the content of each page

CSS or Cascading style sheet is another term used in the definition of appearance and laying out of the contents in a webpage.

This CSS and HTML combined would define how each page appears on a browser.

As a professional web designer, the web designer works on the appearance first, then layout, and, in some cases has to work on the content of the website he’s working on. Also, appearance, for instance, relates to the colors, the font type, font size, and images used.

Layout refers to the structurization and categorization of the information on the website. Features of a good web design  is that it’s always easy to use and  also usually has other characteristics that makes it very loving and pleasing.

Also, it has to suit the user group and brand of the website to serve its actual purpose. Many web pages are designed with focus on simplicity, so that no extra information and functionality that might distract or confuse or hinder the purpose it has to serve the users.

However,the owners choice also has to be respected but  if the very choice of the owner are not the suitable ones for his brand, the web designer has to enlighten him on other better choices and why his choice is not the best. This is because works like these come with praises and insults to the designer.

So, how good the work is, how it works and the professionalism and expertise are mostly the determinants of the category of reviews the designer would get(good or bad).

It’s also important to know how to say no to works that’ll bring shame and bad reviews to the name of the designer,if the owner of the project insists on his own choices which are of course not the best.
